Entry 5 - BostonIV system

Entry 5

Flew to a nearby planet and kept the system-generated name: Stacit IX.

It’s a pillar world, vast vertical formations stretching up and down like frozen scaffolding. The surface is dominated by synthetic fauna rather than organic life. Massive 8-meter walking structures roam slowly across the terrain, behaving less like creatures and more like mobile buildings. Between them move smaller constructs, around 1.3 meters tall, animal-like in shape, long legs, small body and a large round head, but clearly mechanical. I’ve seen similar forms before, years ago, but never often. Their rare encounters, possibly more common in red systems, but i don't visit those enough to confirm.

One of them broke my convergence record: 61.0 IEQ. That puts it unusually close to Korvax convergence thresholds, higher than anything I’ve logged before. Interesting, but unsettling in its own way.

Managed to acquire four new companions here: Guarditso, Gekkoop, Too-Too (the record holder), and the larger Ittia-Ittia. Each responds differently, but all feel… anchored to this place in a way organic creatures never quite are. Gekkoop and Ittia-Ittia are of the same spieces, but look completely different. One is a large walking tower, the other a gigantic ball similair to the trade stations. I wonder what my friends at the Anomaly will think off them. Noted the portal cordinates for possible reference in the future.

While surveying I also gathered materials: 400 units of Cadmium, a good stock of Sodium Nitrite, and several Glitched Separators, suitable for display in one of the Galaxia Cabins installations. Also extracted 14 Chewy Wires from the smaller fauna constructs.

.

Stacit IX feels cold in a way that goes beyond temperature. Everything here is structured, deliberate, and indifferent. There’s no sense of wandering or growth, only function. I do not belong here. Indeed, I count it a blessing that I did not wake up in this world all those years ago.
