Entry 16
Landed on planet Cain. (Also, i rename the planets I discover, but i won't keep mentioning that, unless i don't.)
It's an Acrid planet with boiling acid rain and regular petrolling Sentinals. The whole planet has this retro purple/blue chromatic color. Everything does. I think it is created by a strange chemical reaction i don't fully understand.
The flora here is mostly fungi, very similar to the planet i first woke up on all those years ago. Funny coincidence i run into a planet like this right when i'm writing in this journal.
Saw a crashed freighter on the horizon. Flew over there and landed nearby. MS Wagoyabu-Amot's Glory. Seemed to have skidded over the ground for a couple miles before burrying its nose horizontally in a large hill. Scavanged the remains for valuable loot. Recovered 2 Frigate Modules, a Warp Hypercore in the engine room, a Heat Capacitator in the living quarters and some Unstable Gel and 5 Neural Ducts in its cargo hold.
Also found the remains of the crew, gek. All dead and most where past the state of rotting. Though on an acid planet that might go quite quickly, guessing it has been here for atleast 5 years. I wonder what caused the crash. When i entered the control room i found the captain dead in his seat. The logs on the dashboard where terminated. Maybe by the captain before the crash, maybe by someone else.
Either way the question remains: why?
